What is the difference between Acuvue® Oasys 1-Day contact lenses and 1-Day Acuvue Moist contact lenses?

Acuvue Oasys is made of silicone hydrogel material and offers better oxygen transmissibility whereas 1 Day Acuvue Moist is made of hydrogel-based material and uses LACREON technology to retain more water. Acuvue Oasys also includes Hydraclear technology which acts as a wetting agent, resulting in smooth, moisture-rich surfaces. Acuvue Oasys also provides more UV blocking. The ultimate choice of which lenses to purchase will depend on your specific needs and comfort.  

What is Hydraluxe® Technology?

Hydraluxe® Technology is a unique design with an enhanced network of tear-like molecules that lubricates the lens for effortless blinking.

How much UV protection do these lenses offer?

Acuvue Oasys filters more than 99% of UVB light and more than 90% of UVA light. 

Are disposable contact lenses better than monthly contacts?
