Can Acuvue® Oasys 1-Day lenses be used by children?

Acuvue® Oasys 1-Day contact lenses can be used by teens and pre-teens. However, it is important to understand that contact lenses require care and therefore must only be used by those who are capable of proper maintenance of the contact lenses in order to avoid eye health issues. 

Are disposable contact lenses better than monthly contacts?

Disposable lenses are an excellent choice when it comes to maintaining eye health. This is because there is less chance for protein or bacteria buildup. Daily disposable lenses also don’t need to be disinfected after each use so it is a much more convenient option.

Do these lenses have an expiration date? 

Yes, these contact lenses do have an expiration date. Please check the expiration date stamped on the box itself. 

Am I allowed to purchase these lenses for someone else?

Yes, you can purchase these lenses for another person. The individual you are purchasing for must have a valid prescription that is up to date and not more than 12 months old. 

Can I reuse Acuvue® Oasys 1-Day contact lenses?

No, these are daily disposable lenses that only support one time use. They need to be disposed of after a day’s wear.
